Well, in about 48 hours from now, I should be picking up Stephen at the airport! Please, God, let their plane be on time and everyone be on it!! I can't wait to see him!! As everyone knows, he's been in Kenya on a medical mission trip for the last 2 weeks. I'm so glad he had the opportunity to go and that they were there in a time of such need. Now we are a family in need - NEED OF DADDY BEING HOME! Everyone is feeling much better, which means a lot more energy and in need of daddy wrestling!
Why is it so hard to successfully scratch your foot? It never seems to fully solve the itch... sorry, a little sidebar.... Can you tell, I have an itching foot?
While in Kenya, Stephen and the team have had the privilege of serving over 2000 patients and sharing the gospel along with basic human items like food and water with them. I can't wait to hear their stories!! I know it will be incredible to see God's hand at work ...
So, please be praying for their safe return, and for rest upon his return, and for his energy level to enable him to play with the kids considering how excited they are going to be to see him. Yeah, I might never let him out of my sight again! I do not see how military wives do it - you are incredible.
